Friends of Immaculate GOLF OUTING

HOMECOMING 2009

The 2009 Homecoming on Sunday, June 7, 2009 was a big success and well-attended by former parishioners.  Fr. Holliday relayed that the generous support of the raffle by the former parishioners was extraordinary and surpassed the past recent years.  On behalf of Fr. Holliday and the IC parishioners. the Friends of Immaculate thank you so much for your generous support of our beloved Immaculate Conception Parish.  Such support really goes a long way in helping the parishioners of today continue in their spiritual, social  and educational mission, while helping to maintain those grand old buildings.  Thank you!

HOMECOMING 2010

The 2010 Homecoming will be on Sunday, June 6, 2010.  Mass at 10:00am in the beautiful Upper Church.  Light refreshments to follow.  Hope you can come back to revisit your roots in East Germantown and Immaculate Conception, rekindle old friendships and to make new friends.

FRIENDS OF IMMACULATE REUNION - 2010

The next IC Parish Reunion is set for Sunday, October 10, 2010 (easy to remember, 10-10-10).  The last one in October 2008 was a huge success with over 450 attending.  We're working hard to make this one even bigger and better than that one.  Planning has just started, but here is what's planned so far:

        -    Mass at 10:00am in the Upper Church

        -    After-Mass Social in the Social Hall with light refreshments;

        -    Banquet at Williamsons (Horsham) from 1:00pm-5:00pm

                         (Cocktails - 1:00pm-2:30pm,      Dinner - 2:30pm)

        -    DJ for entertainment and dancing from 1:00pm - 5:00pm

        -    Awarding of the 2010 Special Friend of Immaculate award (the highest honor in IC circles).

                         Who will this years' recipient be?

        -    Induction into the IC Hall of Fame (a new IC reunion tradition).  There will be several

                          inducted.  Who will be so honored?

        -    Mini Reunion for the IC Classes of 1959 and 1960  

        -    Continuous slideshow and photo displays

        -    Posterboard displays of IC and Germantown

        -    IC sale items (2011 IC calendar and other IC items to be determined)

        -    50/50 and Basket of Cheer raffles

        -    Chinese Auction - this was a huge success at the last reunion and alot of fun. 

                         We're bringing it back!

        -    Souvenir Program Booklet and keepsake Best Memory scroll

  
The price includes a donation to our former parish that meant so much to us but is now struggling to survive.  Actually, this is not limited to IC graduates and former parishioners but is open to all "Friends of Immaculate".  All are welcome.  Come out and reconnect with classmates, friends, former neighbors and even to make new friends.  Hope you can make it.
