2012 REUNION  

UPDATE - with the pending parish closing, there will be no IC reunion in 2012.  Check back later to this website for info on IC reunions happening in the future.  

The next IC Parish Reunion is set for

Sunday, October 14, 2012. 

Details still being worked out and will be posted here when known....   

The last one in October 2010 was a smashing success with 432 attending.  We'll be working hard to make this one even bigger and better than that one!  We'll be continuing with Williamson's, a larger venue that can accommodate up to 600 (with ample parking!).  Preliminary plans call for:

  -   Mass at 10:00am in the Upper Church

  -   After-Mass Social in the Social Hall with light refreshments

  -   Banquet at Williamsons (Horsham) from 1:00pm-6:30pm

              (Cocktails - 1:00pm-2:30pm,  Dinner - 2:30pm,  Entertainment - 2:30pm-6:30pm) 

  -   DJ Dennis Abernathy for entertainment and dancing from 2:30pm - 6:30pm

  -   Awarding of the 2012 Special Friend of Immaculate award (the highest and most

              prestigious honor  in IC circles).  Who will be so honored this time?????

  -   Induction into the IC Hall of Fame, a new IC reunion tradition started at the

              2010 IC Reunion.  Who will be so honored this time?????

  -   Mini 50th Anniversary Reunion for the IC Classes of 1961 and 1962  (please spread the

              word to these IC alums)

  -   Continuous playing of an IC slideshow

  -   Posterboard displays of IC and Germantown

  -   IC memorabilia table

  -   IC sale items 

  -   50/50 and Basket of Cheer raffles (*) - this was a huge success at the 2010 reunion!

  -   Chinese Auction - this was a huge success at the 2008 & 2010 reunions, and a lot of fun. 

                         We will be bringing it back!    (*)

 -   Souvenir Program Booklet and keepsake Best Memory scroll

                          (*)  We welcome, and would very much appreciate, any donation to

                                      the Basket of Cheer (liquor, wine or liqueur) and the Chinese

                                      Auction (collectibles, goods, jewelry, services, gift certificates

                                      to a store or restaurant, tickets to sporting events or shows,

                                      use of vacation property, etc).  The donation possibilities are

                                      endless and most welcomed.  All donors will be acknowledged

                                      in the program booklet and at the prize table.  All proceeds

                                      help and benefit our former parish.  Please contact any of the

                                      reunion committee members if you can help us with this by

                                      making a donation to this very worthy cause.  Thank you!  

The price will include a donation to our former parish that meant so much to us but is now struggling to survive.  Actually, this is not limited to IC graduates and former parishioners but is open to all "Friends of Immaculate".  All are welcome. Come out and reconnect with classmates, friends, former neighbors and even to make new friends.  Hope you can make it.

An event that will bring great people together; at a great venue; with a great program; with all proceeds to benefit our beloved Immaculate Conception.....   A great time is sure to be had by all!  What more can you ask for!  Hope you can make it!
